You can run the dpkg --purge raspi-firmware command to remove this package. This problem was solved with the creation of own linux-firmware-* instead of those of Debian after the 2.2RC1 release publication.
For Linux, I don’t understand you have this error. I’ll retest an fresh install and an update that as soon as possible.
I can try with the 2.2RC1 KDE ISO, but I don’t think it will make your mistake again. Linux does not depend on the interface used. I will paste my output here in our language.
