Cannot get DVD drive to run first when booting up computer.
Is the drive noticeable when your computer boots and operating system is operating?
PROBLEM SOLVED. Go to Synaptic Package Manager and search for “refind” which is a boot manager. Install it. When you restart your PC, a set of icons will appear. Select the Linux Penguin that is third one to your right. Your DVD will automatically start as long as you have a disk in your DVD drive.
