Erro during install displaylink drivers

Hello,
I try to install displaylink drivers with pakacge from this url : DisplayLink USB Graphics Software for Ubuntu 5.6.1 | Synaptics

When I execute .run files, I have this error :

Could you help me to debug this install ?

Thank you :slight_smile:

Hello,

Can you send here the content of the log file?

Thank you.

@Iwios ,

Hello,

Synaptics (DisplayLink protocol developper) only release drivers for Ubuntu, to be more precise : up to the 23.04 version.

Kaisen Linux has a more recent kernel version. Because of that, the kernel module (driver) provided by Synaptics does compile.

Have a look at community projects like this one :

Please be aware, I do not guaranty the integrity of your system. Take a filesystem snapshot before any attempt of installing the kernel module.

Thank you for your reply.
For some reasons, I change my laptop.

I can’t test with this community (I remember, I have test this feature but not sure)

If y retry, I post the result somewhere :slight_smile:
